IDENTITY THROUGH DESIGN: A HOTEL AS A HOLISTIC EXPERIENCE
The design concept introduces the Sentido brand into an existing hotel by creating a cohesive and welcoming atmosphere across lobby, bar, restaurant, and outdoor areas. A holistic spatial identity connects all zones while allowing each area to express its own character. The result is a visually impressive interior that feels inviting, visually refined, and functionally well-balanced, leaving a lasting impression.
LOBBY: The lobby offers an impressive spatial foundation, which we enhanced by introducing large-scale furniture and striking design elements, fully unlocking the room’s potential. Building on this structure, the redesign incorporates subtle Boho, Caribbean, and Egyptian influences. A unified palette of warm sand and grey tones creates a calm, welcoming atmosphere, while targeted color accents highlight the reception and its existing mosaic as the visual focal point. An exhibition desk with regional books and artifacts provides balance on the opposite side. Indirect, dimmable warm-white lighting, focused spotlights, and planted window basins complete the inviting ambiance.
BLUE BAR: The representative Blue Bar is consistently curated, creating several exciting areas with different characters that work together in a holistic style. Varied seating types, corner-softening curtains, and a matte dark-blue scheme work together with warm indirect lighting to create a comfortable space that encourages guests to linger.
RESTAURANT: The dining area is organized with room dividers and flexible furniture, while archways conceal kitchen areas and visually emphasize the grill station. Acoustic ceiling slats improve sound quality, and eye-level plants serve as gentle visual partitions. Indirect lighting and a consistent green background create a calm and relaxed atmosphere. A new pergola with zoned seating areas provides a comfortable outdoor space.
ADDITIONAL AREAS: A lively and colorful beach area has been created where guests can come together to actively enjoy life. Guest rooms have been refreshed and upgraded, enhancing the overall quality and coherence of the hotel experience.
